Earth Day Everyday Concert: Thinking Globally, Activing Vocally

Date:

Sunday, April 20, 2014

Description:

Jim Scott and James Durst appear together in concert, featuring the songs and stories of Pete Seeger. For more than 30 years Jim Scott has created and performed music that celebrates peace, justice and the Earth, addressing our common concerns with insight and gentle wit. He connects intimately with his audience with guitar skill and a disarming presence that inspires and uplifts his listeners. James Durst has been quietly traveling the planet as a touring artist since 1965, including 45 countries and all 50 states. His repertoire includes original work and those gathered from two dozen languages that reflect his global perspective. His audiences walk away with a better understanding of the interconnectedness we share with all of life, bringing us closer to our world and each other.
