The Moth in Huntsville

Thursday, July 13, 2017

As part of our year-long 40th anniversary celebration, WLRH 89.3 FM/HD is proud to bring The Moth Mainstage to Huntsville! This show is sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union and a donation in honor of former WLRH producer Bill Wells. The Moth Mainstage is a live, curated event featuring old-fashioned storytelling by five wildly divergent raconteurs who develop and shape their stories with Moth directors. We might also hear the debut of a new Tennessee Valley storyteller. Beyond theater, The Moth Mainstage is a community where entertainment and enlightenment merge. The doors open at 5:30pm. Arrive early for complimentary pre-show refreshments served by Church Street Wine Shoppe. The theater doors close and the show begins at 7:00pm. No food or drink in the theather, please. There will be a short intermission with refreshments. The post-show meet and greet gathers on the patio outside Randolph's food court and lasts until 10:15pm. You can meet The Moth storytellers and directors, and WLRH staff. Light appetizers and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served.
