UAH- Lecture, "Normality, c. 1600"

The UAH Department of English, the College of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities, and the UAH Humanities Center invite you to attend a public lecture on Saturday, March 25, entitled, "Normality, c. 1600: A Visual History." The lecture will be given by Dr. Valerie Traub, Adrienne Rich Distinguished University Professor and Frederick G. L. Huetwell Professor of English and Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan. Professor Traub is a scholar of Shakespeare studies, gender studies and sexuality studies who will offer the keynote lecture as part of the UAH's biennial graduate student conference, the theme of which is “Geologies of Sex: Gender, Sexuality, and Historicity in Cross-Theoretical Contexts.” The lecture will be held on the UAH campus in the Shelby Center, room 301, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Information at 256-824-6320.
