There are many ways Tennessee Valley residents can help our community during this difficult time. We have listed them below and will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.

ALtogetheralabama.org - Statewide "one-stop-shop" for those in need of assistance and those available to provide assistance. 

 

Donate PPE and Supplies

Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce -

  • Drop off PPE Donations for the Madison County Medical Society at The Chamber. 
  • If your company produces PPE, take the chamber's short Emergency Medical Supplies survey and a chamber member will contact you.

Huntsville Fighting Covid - Donate 3D-printed face shields for healthcare providers.

Huntsville Hospital Foundation - Make fabric masks for the Huntsville Hospital System. Masks can be delivered to HH Occupational Health Group (OHG) locations in Huntsville, Madison & Decatur, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Help Neighbors in Need

Community Foundation Emergency Relief FundThis fund supports organizations in the Greater Huntsville area who are providing basic needs and/or health and wellness relief efforts related to the COVID-19 situation. 100% of the money donated goes directly to local agencies helping those impacted the most. 

Food Bank of North AlabamaTo reduce the possible spread of Coronavirus, those who would wish to support the Food Bank are encouraged to make a cash donation online. If you'd like to make a food donation, wash your hands thoroughly before collecting the food. Contactless drop-off is available in the lobby of the Food Bank. 

Fractal Brewing and First Stop - Fractal Brewing is accepting donations on behalf of First Stop to help feed our homeless population. 

Huntsville Madison County Senior Center - Donate to assist the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center provide "Meals on Wheels" to struggling seniors.

Manna House - Manna House is organizing the Huntsville City Schools feeding program for students who are not getting breakfast and lunch at school. They are accepting donations and volunteers Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 4 and 6:30 PM at 2110 S. Memorial Pkwy.

Red Cross of North Alabama - Make an appointment to donate blood. Recovered COVID19 patients can donate plasma; click here for more information on plasma donation.  If your church or organization would like to organize a blood drive call 256-536-0084.

United Way of Madison County  - Donate to the COVID-19 Assitance Fund. 

Support Local Businesses, Workers, and Artists

Arts Huntsville - Donate to the Individual Artist Emergency Relief Grant Fund (ARF) to provide individual artists with grants to cover immediate expenses. 100% of community contributions will be disbursed for Relief Fund grants.

Downtown Huntsville Inc. - Check out this running list of Downtown Huntsville restaurants & retail stores expanding delivery due to Coronavirus measures.

Get Your Gift On - Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce site where you can buy gift cards, donate to staff support funds and order online from struggling local businesses. 

Tip a Huntsville Service Worker - Click to tip a randomly selected a local service industry worker, through Venmo or Cash App.

#QuaranTEAM - Donate directly to the #QuaranTEAM fund to support Huntsville/Madison County hospitality and retail workers. 100% of donations will be distributed and support impacted workers via the Women's Economic Development Council.

Spread Some Cheer

Ribbons of Hope CampaignGovernor Kay Ivey has asked for Alabama residents to put ribbons on their mailbox, a tree in their front yard, etc. (any size/ any color.) This is to serve as a symbol of support for medical personnel, first responders and for one another.
