FRI Seeds to Sprouts 'Birds of Valentine's Day' at Huntsville Botanical Garden. An interactive garden experience for children. Admission fee. Begins 10am.
FRI American Shakespeare Center performs "Othello" at the UAH Exhibit Hall. Presented by Huntsville Literary Association. Admission fee. Pre-show lecture 6pm. Show starts 7pm
FRI (local music) Spiral Down South at The Copper Top, Huntsville AL.
SAT Birding Symposium at Huntsville Botanical Garden. This event includes presentations by Herb Lewis, creator of HBG's Lewis Birding Trail and Purple Martin expert Brian Naughton. Birding walk begins 7am. Breakfast at 8:30am.
SAT Learning Expo at the US Space and Rocket Center. Hosted by Rocket City Mom and USSRC. All sorts of educational and interactive exhibits for students, as well as live performances. Show you Expo program and get admission to see the 'Da Vinci' exhibit. Open to the public. 10am-3pm.
SAT Inaugural Cyber Security Conference "B Sides" at Calhoun Community College. High school students and educators can experience live hacking demonstrations and meet cyber experts. Admission fee. 8am-5pm.
SAT South Huntsville Teen Writers group meets at Bailey Cove Public Library. Meetings are held twice a month where young writers can share their work and learn new writing tricks. Open to the public. 11am.
SAT (local music) Marrow, Phylum, Evil Eye and Ugly Houses at The Copper Top, Huntsville AL.
SUN Downtown Huntsville Retro-Games in the park outside the downtown YMCA. An Olympics inspired event that includes games like Dodge Ball, Capture The Flag, Four Square and others. Begins 1pm.
FRI FEB 14 St. Jude's Children's Hospital benefit featuring Liberty In Embers and Mobile Death Camp at The Sports Page, Huntsville AL. 
ONGOING Art exhibit 'Sea Change" by Brian Edmonds at UAH Salmon Library.
ONGOING Launch of 'Educational Escapes' website by Huntsville / Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau. This new online resource connects students and educators with out-of-classroom educational programs available to everyone.
