SUN 16th annual Rocket City Tuba Christmas at Huntsville Museum of Art. If you play tuba, baritone or euphonium, grab your instrument and register to join the band ... or just stop by and listen. Open to the public. 3pm.
SUN Holiday FUN Art Making at Huntsville Museum of Art. Parents and children 3 years and older can stop by the museum and make a holiday-themed ornament to take home. Materials provided. Open to the public. Admission required to see the gallery. 1:30-3pm.
SUN (local music) Toney Perdu, The General Bastard at Copper Top, Huntsville.
TUE Madison Community Band's Annual Christmas Concert at Grace United Methodist Church, Old Monrovia Rd, Providence. Open to the public. 7pm.
THU Gallery Art Tour across Huntsville. This holiday tour features artists and galleries in the Rocket City, including Little Green Store, Huntsville Art League, Artistic Images Gallery, Rivenbark & Roper Antiques, Lowe Mill, Flying Monkey, The Gallery at Harrison Brothers Hardware, Huntsville Museum of Art and Art&Soul Gallery. Open to the public. 5-9pm.
FRI (Dec. 6-8, 12-15) A Christmas Carol at von Braun Center Playhouse. Presented by Fantasy Playhouse. Admission is charged.
ONGOING Tinsel Trail at Big Spring International Park, downtown Huntsville. Civic groups and businesses have decorated more than 200 trees in holiday fare. Open to the public. Tree lighting ceremonies run from 6-8pm.
SAT (Dec 7) Alabama Rising concert series feat. Lee Bains III and the Glory Fires at Flying Monkey Arts Theatre, Lowe Mill, Huntsville.
ONGOING A Visit in Santa's Village at Constitution Village, Early Works Museum, downtown Huntsville. Children can step into Santa's world and visit the North Pole elves, reindeer and singing Christmas trees. Admission is charged. Open nightly 5-9pm.
