Celebrate Huntsville Music Month with WLRH

We hope to see you at these three special Huntsville Music Month events. It's your chance to have a unique musical experience, and also talk with us about how you can help us support our local performing arts scene. We're excited about the Originally Huntsville lineup for September 14th at the Electric Belle. WLRH is teaming with the Hendley Group and the Huntsville Music Office to feature the library’s local music streaming service, Blast Music. We have performances by Chelsea, Who? Camacho, and Drop Diver. We’ll also celebrate live music on Sept 23rd at the Rocket City Marching Invitational and on Sept 26th at A Festival of Hymns at Church of the Nativity in Huntsville.

ALSO! Arts Huntsville and the Huntsville Music Office are hosting a Music Industry Job Fair and Community Expo ... your chance to explore paid and volunteer opportunities within our Huntsville music ecosystem, including here at 89.3. The Expo is Saturday September 16th from 12pm-2pm at the Von Braun Center's East Hall. Be sure to drop by the WLRH table!

WLRH, in partnership with the Hendley Group and the Huntsville Music Office, presents Originally Huntsville, featuring Blast Music artists: Chelsea, Who? Camacho, and Drop Diver. It all happens Thursday, September 14th at Stovehouse's The Electric Belle. Doors open at 6 PM, music starts at 7 PM. More details and RSVP on the Facebook Event.

The Bob Jones High School Marching Patriots are proud to present the Inaugural Rocket City Marching Invitational on September 23 at Madison City Stadium! Watch top level high school bands perform in front of a world class panel. This showcase features a day of music and marching entertainment with local competition bands, tasty concessions, and a chance to vote for your favorite group! Bands compete to be named the Rocket City Grand Champion! Ticket info at BJHSBand.com and on the BJHS Band Boosters Facebook event.

Music is a vibrant part of the thriving ministry at Nativity Episcopal Church. The church is a community center for quality choral and organ music in downtown Huntsville and its surrounding areas. A Festival of Hymns: The Liturgical Year is presented by the Nativity Choir and Dr. Patrick Scott, organist, on Tuesday, September 26th, 7 PM at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
