Local Veterinarian on Recognizing, Preventing Mystery Dog Ailment

The cause of the respiratory illness is unknown.

During the holiday season a lot of people are making plans to travel and deciding what to do with their pets. Recently, a mysterious respiratory ailment has been causing concern for dog owners. While most of the cases have been found in the Pacific Northwest and Northeast, some cases have turned up in Georgia and Florida. Local veterinarian Dr. Wesley Clendinen is the owner of South Huntsville Veterinary clinic and the Vice President of the Madison County Veterinary Medical Association. He spoke with Ginny Kennedy about what to look out for and what we can do to keep our pups safe.
