Thursday, July 2, 2020

Morning Blend host Dorrie Nutt talks with percussionist Sean Kennedy about a new recording he's done of "The Downfall of Paris", a popular protest song that Benjamin Franklin favored. Along the way, they talk about the history of percussion rudiments and the latest in recording technology that allows musicians to perform collaboratively online. The recording features several brass and percussion players, including the HSO's principal trumpet, Chris Colleti.  Here's a link to the video version on YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eypAXGn_6c
