PRH "Aging Gracefully and the Challenges of Elder Care" (12/12/19)

On this week's Public Radio Hour, our Elder Care Series comes to a crescendo with three separate views on getting older and the issues that come with it. We hear how Huntsville's Monte Sano Mountain community innovated an alternative to assisted living, with a neighbors-helping-neighbors, village culture. We'll pull our bikes off the rack in the garage to roll alongside folks at Tweed Ride; we'll ask them how they'd like to age. And on our elder care panel, three advocates for resolving elder care issues discuss relevant topics like elder abuse, phone and email scammers and more.
