
Erich Brukner
General Manager, WLRH-FM | Division Director of Radio, Alabama Public TelevisionErich Brukner brings more than two decades of experience in broadcasting and media leadership to his role as General Manager of WLRH-FM and Division Director of Radio for Alabama Public Television.
From 2006 to 2024, Erich was a key figure at iHeartMedia Huntsville, where he served as Senior Vice President of Programming and Program Director for WDRM. Under his leadership, the station maintained a remarkable 24-year streak as the top-rated station in the market — a testament to his strategic vision and deep connection with the community.
Following his tenure in commercial radio, Erich spent a year expanding his expertise in the tech and retail sector as Director of Marketing for GigaParts, a national technology retailer based in Huntsville.
Returning to public broadcasting in April 2025, Erich is excited to bring his passion for storytelling, community engagement, and innovation to WLRH and Alabama Public Television.
