Virginia Gilbert with her 1970 edition of the Iowan that published her Earth Day poem entitiled "Pax Romana".

Back in 1970, Dr Virginia Gilbert submitted a poem entitled "Pax Romana" for an Earth Day poetry contest at "The Daily Iowan". Today she reads that poem for us, and turns out it was eerily prescient.
