The Writer’s Corner on WLRH features prose and poetry submitted by talented TN Valley wordsmiths. With each episode, a different voice is heard in “The Writer’s Corner,” with a commentary or poem recorded by the author. How to Submit Your Writing to the Sundial Writers Corner
Think out loud! Write for the ear, rather than for the eye. Dialogue usually doesn’t work as well as straight commentary.
Think short! Unfortunately, attention spans tend to drop off after about three minutes of spoken word. Time yourself at home before submitting your prose or poetry.
Think Personal! Family stories, remembrances, personal adventures can all provide good writing material. No political views will be accepted.
Please email us your submission to sundial@wlrh.org.
Writings can also be submitted the old fashioned way. Our address is-
WLRH Public Radio
Attn: Sundial Writers

If your work is accepted for The Sundial Writers Corner, you will be invited to come to the WLRH studios to record your submission.
