Valley Sounds is a weekly spotlight on original music created and performed Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley.

This week on Valley Sounds, music made from one of the most powerful instruments … the pipe organ! We’ll preview Hymn Fest happening Tuesday at Church of the Nativity in downtown Huntsville and hear a live pipe organ performance by Christian Crocker. Also an interview with Originally Huntsville’s Chris Hendley, and music by the American Spiritual Ensemble, Ayeesha E , Jersey Meg, Camacho, Drop Diver, Chelsea Who?, Tosha Hill, Lana White and The Crash.

Brett Tannehill
Brett is a 25-year veteran of public television and radio. He's won more than 30 journalism awards, including a national Edward R. Murrow award and RTDNA's international UNITY award for excellence in coverage of diversity issues. He was also lucky enough to spend several years recording commentaries from legendary storyteller Kathryn Tucker Windham, which stands as one of his all-time favorite things about working in broadcasting.
