This week, I'll take us through a feature of artists who more or less had a huge career or sorts after their deaths. You can also expect interviews with the likes of John Kay of Steppenwolf, Freda Payne, Paul Anka and KC & The Sunshine Band.

Bob Labbe has been spinning his own personal 45rpm record collection since 1990 on WLRH hosting/producing Reelin’ In The Years. Incorporating the pop music tunes of 1950-1990, utilizing interviews with some of the biggest names in music, along with tidbits of the music and artists, and you have a unique mix of radio, the way it used to be. Each program also includes fun contests for super prizes.
Beginning in radio straight out of high school here in Huntsville, Bob celebrates 47 years in broadcasting in 2019. He's also worked in local television, and was enshrined into the Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame for his coverage of sports. Bob is also an award-winning writer for local newspapers and magazines, and has served as a master of ceremonies and guest speaker for numerous events. He’s also in his 27th season as a high school basketball referee.
Bob has become known as the local “guru of oldies,” so join him each Friday night on WLRH and e-mail him at [email protected]. Reelin’ In The Years airs from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
