The general election campaigns for municipal, state legislature districts, statewide offices and US Congress and Senate seats are in full gear, now in the Tennessee Valley. As part of our service to the community, we are asking candidates from the major parties and independents to come to our studios and talk to the people.
While we will adhere to providing equal time to all candidates that will appear on the ballot, we can only ask them to appear and may or may not have our invitation accepted.
If you are a candidate, work for a candidate or are connected to a campaign, please have them contact us at [email protected] and we will send them a link to sign up for a time to come to our studios for an interview.
We will edit interviews for length and may deliver an interview online, on the air and on other digital media.
WLRH does not support any candidate.
WLRH is committed to the principles of fairness, balance, and impartiality in our political coverage. WLRH retains editorial control over all broadcast material and reserves the right to edit the interview for broadcast length, clarity, and compliance with our community standards. To maintain a factual and fair forum, we reserve the right to edit or omit personal attacks or defamatory statements.
We look forward to this exciting time of getting to know our candidates and serving our community in a way that only public radio can do!
