Bud McLaughlin earned his journalism degree from Auburn University. A New Jersey native, he began his career as at his hometown newspaper, then headed south. He was sports and news editor for Huntsville News, business editor at the Huntsville Times, and editor of various local publications. Officially retired, he and his wife enjoy sporting events and concerts
