Madison Police Department Launches Confirm OK

The Madison Police Department has launched Confirm OK, a new wellness check-in pilot program designed to support residents who live alone or may be vulnerable. Participants receive scheduled phone check-ins—up to eight times a day—and missed responses trigger a follow-up welfare check by police and medics. The program is free to join, thanks to support from Premier Properties, and the department hopes it will help identify emergencies sooner while reducing unnecessary welfare calls.
