Your New Chapter of WLRH 89.3 FM: Refreshed Programming Schedule

Dear WLRH Friends,

In just one week, WLRH begins an exciting new chapter!

On Monday, July 27, we’re launching a refreshed program schedule that reflects where WLRH is headed and, more importantly, what you’ve told us you value most: local connections, exceptional music, and programming that enriches your day.

Beginning July 27, you’ll hear:

One of  the things we’re most excited about is our expanded music experience. WLRH HD-1 will feature Adult Album Alternative (“AAA”)  music in the nighttime and overnight hours – an eclectic mix of singer-songwriters, indie artists, Americana, folk, rock, and legendary artists across multiple genres. This includes music with depth and personality, and songs you won’t hear anywhere else on the radio. Best of all, these playlists will be locally curated by our own staff, not piped in from some corporate office across the country.

If classical music is what you love, it’s not going anywhere. WLRH HD-2 continues to feature classical music 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And on HD-1, Morning Blend remains your mid-morning source for all things classic and classical, alongside Performance TodayBrass Reeds and PercussionSymphonyCast, and more.

For 24/7 news/talk and informational programming, tune in to WLRH HD-3 for coverage from the BBC – a trusted source for what’s happening around the world. Click here to learn how to tune in to any of our three HD channels.

Whether you’ve been listening for decades or you’ve only recently found us, thank you for making WLRH part of your life and for investing in the future of public radio in the Tennessee Valley.

We invite you to take a look at our refreshed program schedule below.

We are excited to begin this new chapter together on Monday, July 27! We can’t wait for you to hear it. This is what local sounds like.

Sincerely,

Erich Brukner
