Arts Underground: Reach and Teach

This episode, we delve into a special program headquartered in Florence, Alabama, called Reach and Teach, or ‘RNT’. The group was founded by Cameron “Cam” Flener – the founder and lead singer of the Velcro Pygmies, an 80s rock cover band known for high-energy performances.

The RNT team travels across the country to introduce high school students to a number of sectors of the music and entertainment industries.  This summer will be the second hands-on summer camp facilitated by RNT and the Orion Amphitheater– The RNT+ Experience.

You’ll hear from RNT’s Johnita Romine and Ashlyn Stutts, as well as the Orion’s Laina Mayer about this collaboration, and what participants can expect at this year’s camp.
