Huntsville Music Office Kicks Off 2026 with Packed Community Meetup

The Huntsville Music Office hosted its first quarterly meetup of 2026 last Tuesday at the newly reopened Tip Top Café, drawing a full room of musicians, venue owners, and industry supporters.

The event focused on networking and updates, with attendees connecting and discussing opportunities across Huntsville’s growing music community.

Music Officer Matt Mandrella highlighted efforts to support artists and strengthen the local music economy, including the Music Ambassador Program (MAP), which offers grants of $750 to $1,500 per tour for qualifying musicians.

He also addressed ongoing efforts to better connect artists with local institutions and resources.

The meetup is part of a continuing effort to bring Huntsville’s music community together and share updates on initiatives shaping the local scene.
