Latin American Academy of Sciences Inducts UAH Prof. Em.

Dr. Ramón Cerro, a professor emeritus of chemical engineering at University of Alabama in Huntsville, was recently inducted as a member of the Latin American Academy of Science. The Academy, according to UAH Research Writer Russ Nelson, is “one of the most distinguished scientific academies in Latin America and the Caribbean.”

Dr. Cerro talked with Katy Ganaway on Tennessee Valley Mornings about his feelings regarding this honor, his thoughts on the future of STEM, his beloved hobby he’s focusing on in his retirement, and more.
