Musicology School of Music Moving to Campus 805

Campus 805 is about to welcome the Musicology School of Music to its second floor. Our guest in this interview, Quentin Roddie, established Musicology in 2006, and tells WLRH’s Katy Ganaway that this move will make the music school more accessible, among a more robust area for the fine arts. Roddie adds that the campus is also a great place to collaborate with local STEM programs, such as Rocket City Lasers.

2026 marks the school’s 20th anniversary, and Roddie says what started as a school with three instructors teaching 100 students out of a very small operation, has amassed not only 33 music educators, but now also more than 700 students. The Musicology School of Music’s Madison location will remain in place. The Huntsville location’s tentative move date is April 6, 2026.
